QUESTIONS
What does “community card” actually mean?
It’s a physical or digital discount card issued by a community organization — a chamber of commerce, a downtown development group, a neighborhood association. Cardholders show the card at local merchants to get discounts. Think of it like a local loyalty program, but run by the community instead of a corporation.
Do I need WooCommerce?
No. The free version works without WooCommerce. If you want to sell Pro licenses or membership tiers through your site, WooCommerce handles the checkout. But the card program itself runs independently.
How do merchants verify cards?
Free version: merchants log into their dashboard and type the card number. Pro version: scan a QR code with any smartphone camera. Both methods verify in under two seconds.
Can I customize the card design?
Pro feature. Upload your logo, set colors, add a custom background. The card generates as a printable PDF or a digital card for phone wallets.
What happens when a license expires?
The plugin keeps working. You lose access to updates and priority support, but your data stays put and your cardholders can still use their cards. We don’t hold your program hostage.
Is there a limit on cardholders or merchants?
No. Free or Pro, unlimited on both. We don’t charge per seat, per scan, or per merchant. One price, no surprises.
